Booking Airport Transfers
To help us determine what vehicle you require for a safe and comfortable transfer to or from your airport please refer to the booking form (type of vehicle required section), or phone our trained operators who will ask for the amount of passengers and luggage.
Collection (from airport)
We can pick you up from anywhere in the U.K. and take you to anywhere in the U.K. as long as it is pre-booked.
You will find that we are one of the leaders in our field and that is why we are able to keep our prices very competitive. Please note, that the prices to pick up from all airports are inclusive of car parking charges and waiting time whilst passengers collect their luggage and clear customs.
All our passengers will be met at the INFORMATION DESK, by one of our drivers, who will be holding an Dockland Express Cars name board, which will have your name displayed on it.
If you cannot see the driver at the INFORMATION DESK, please contact us on 0208 981 9922, where the we will contact the driver directly on their mobile phone. We will stay on the line until you have successfully met the driver.
Collection (from home/work)
Our drivers will contact you 10 mins prior to collection time. He/she will be at pick up address 15 mins prior to collection time.
If you are going to be delayed please contact us on 0208 981 9922 or liase with driver if he/she is already there.
No charge for waiting up to 15 mins after pre arranged booking time, after this time there will be a further charge of £5.00 per 20 mins.
Delays & Cancellations
The average amount of time required by passengers to collect their luggage and clear customs is between 20 to 75 minutes. Our drivers will stay at the INFORMATION DESK for 90mins after the flight has landed. He/she will then phone our office for further instructions.
If you are delayed by customs, immigration or baggage please phone us on 0208 981 9922 or from inside the arrivals hall. If the office has not made contact with the customer and the customer does not show, the driver will be allocated another job and the customer will incur the full charge.
In the event of cancellation (i.e. passengers miss their flight or connection) as long as we are notified 4 hours in advance there will be no charge and a full refund will be given.
We have the right to refuse or cancel any booking within 12 hours of booking time, due to unforeseen circumstances.
We also have the right to amend any booking at 12 hours notice.
You may also be offered a higher priced service than previously booked due to unforeseen circumstances.
To avoid any problems on arrival please keep a note of our telephone number, alternatively you may wish to print off a copy of this page.
Neither Dockland Express Cars nor any of its contracted or sub-contracted drivers will accept responsibility for loss or damage to luggage. clients are responsible for ensuring that their luggage is loaded/unloaded at all times, if accompanying the luggage on the journey. Dockland Express Cars & or its contracted or sub-contracted drivers have the right to refuse any client or to make the journey due to the client having excess luggage which would result in the vehicle being unsafe whilst in motion.
A 3% booking fee will apply to all bookings paid for by credit or debit card.
